Forgiveness?
Would you forgive the hanging man?
The gaunt face, the lying man?
Would you forgive the hopeless man?
The haunted eyes, the dying man?
Do you forgive those cold faces?
The slate grey stare?
Do you imagine the emotion
You wish you saw there?
Do you forgive the man who laughs
madly in your face?
Do you forgive the man who taunts you
Pulling logic out of it’s place.
Do you forgive the destroyer of worlds?
The catastrophic disaster he breeds?
Do you let them get you down?
Does that mean they succeed?
